Brazos Hall Austin Wedding – Stephanie and Alex

Stephanie and Alex’s Brazos Hall wedding in Downtown Austin was an absolute blast! We started the day at The Westin where the girls got ready. Shortly after we arrived Alex got to the hotel and Bradley got him all set up for the first look. Someone hanging around the hotel mentioned this amazing alley way back behind this parking lot we were going to use and it was PERFECT. A little bit of grit with a whole lot of lush vines. Once Alex and Stephanie had their intimate first look, which made us want to cry, we all hopped into a couple Uber’s with the bridal party and headed to our next location. We went to the Seaholm Power Plant by the Trader Joe’s where we photographed Alex and Stephanie’s engagement session. We had a blast spending an hour with the whole group getting some fun portraits and hanging out.

When we got to the venue details were getting finalized and guests were arriving. This thing was about to go down! It was wonderful seeing Stephanie and Alex spending some time together prior to the ceremony to soak in what was about to happen, they were about to commit their lives to one another and it was exciting! That’s another reason we love first looks so that you can be with your partner throughout the day and celebrate each moment together as you celebrate. Well, the ceremony happened next and it was oh so beautiful. Their setup had their family and friends surrounded all around them and it was so intimate. Once they exchanged rings, said their I do’s, and kissed; Alex stepped on the glass and they headed to cocktail hour. (It’s a Jewish tradition to step on the glass at the end of the ceremony)

Cocktail hour began and the rest of the evening was celebrating with their friends and family.
