I (Stephanie) met Taylor a few years ago when we lived in Houston. She was just starting out with photography and we met up over coffee. Immediately I fell in love with Taylor’s kind personality and passion to learn photography. Fast forward years later she got engaged and reached out to us to photograph her and Paul’s wedding. Bradley and I were thrilled and completely honored.

Paul and Taylor met in August of 2013 and were set up by mutual friends. For some reason, although their friends had told Paul about Taylor, she hadn’t heard a thing about him. She didn’t even know they were being set up until a while after the fact! They quickly fell head over heels in love with each other.

Here is their proposal story in Taylor’s words.

“It was a complete surprise! I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA! We were hosting a holiday party for three of my best photographer friends and their husbands. We were having such a wonderful time, and at the end of the night Paul thanked everyone for coming, then turned to me and thanked me for the past few years together and proposed. I was totally taken by surprise and didn’t catch on that he was proposing until the very end of his speech! Luckily my friend Kristen figured it out earlier than I did and recorded it for us.”

One Eleven East in Hutto was the wedding venue they chose to get married. Taylor and Paul decided to also do their engagement session there as well. Their wedding was recently and it was so fun photographing them in the same space with two different approaches and ways of celebrating. One Eleven East is such a gorgeous all white lofty space. We definitely recommend it!
