Laid Back Austin Wedding at The Ball Farm – Che and Josh

This laid back outdoor wedding at the Ball Farm in Austin was spectacular. Che and Josh met eight years ago in Washington. Che told us, “I proposed to him three years ago at Lake Superior (after falling directly in the lake while attempting to gracefully hold onto a tree and pee). Little did I know that he’d known of my intentions to propose, and had also bought a ring that he gave me later that same night. So, I suppose we really proposed to each other.” They moved to Austin two years later and said they traded in their rainy Sundays for a little bit of sunshine. They wanted a music festival themed wedding and they absolutely nailed it. They even branded their day with the name “Ritual Union”. The ball farm was the perfect location for their friends who traveled from Washington to stay at the tents and have the true festival experience. Their family also traveled from out of state and it was a beautiful celebration where everyone came together. We enjoyed three live bands, family style dinner, and a small bonfire for the evening. As a wedding that is so memorable for us, we can’t imagine how memorable it was for them.
