We absolutely loved meeting Michelle and James. They are such a fun couple who compliment each other so well. For their engagement session, they wanted a fun Houston outdoor engagement session where they reside. These two met back in 2015 when Michelle finished her first year of law school. James moved back to Houston from Alabama. Michelle’s best friend invited her to her least favorite bar in Houston for a friend’s birthday. Well, that friend was James’ best friend and through Michelle’s cranky mood James kept making her laugh. (her words, not ours) Let’s just say that worked out well!
For their proposal, Michelle actually told James where her favorite spot was in Houston and where he should propose. They planned on going there with their dog Bandit and she assumed he would propose then. The day of the proposal, he asked her if they could go on a romantic trip the next weekend. Michelle was definitely thrown off at that point. Before they went to the dog spot, she saw the ring in James’ pants because they were a little too tight. Michelle decided to put on a dress because she assumed correctly that the proposal indeed was happening that day!
We can’t wait to celebrate with these two later this year and are excited to share their engagement session!
