Kris and Emily’s Austin Wedding at Springdale Station was eloquently beautiful and an absolute blast. When we first met with Emily and Kris we hit it off immediately. They are compassionate kind humans who are laid back and completely honest people. We value that so much and knew we would love becoming friends and celebrating with them!
Their wedding day started at this gorgeous Airbnb in Austin where Emily and her family and friends got ready. Once we photographed a bit there along with some beautiful bridal details we went straight to Springdale Station. Kris arrived at the venue shortly after for some getting ready photos before their first look by this beautiful window light indoors. A couple hours later after family and friends arrived and shared a couple drinks the ceremony began. The indoor light was soft and beautiful with the wonderful uplighting done by Super Flow Productions. After the ceremony the reception began with shared first dances, heartfelt toasts, and a table of bite size desserts to last all night. DJ NIXX is one of our favorite Austin DJ’s and she was absolutely perfect all night. She nailed the playlist and not once was the dance floor empty. The evening was filled with eventful dancing and some surprises you’ll have to see later in the post. There may or may not be a surprise visit from a specific type of Harry Styles from One Direction.
