Austin Engagement Session – Emily and Adam
Emily and Adams Austin engagement session was blast. We started the session out on east sixth to get some chill urban photos around some of their favorite spots. Afterwards we went to a local park that Bradley and I love to hike and run around. When we moved to Austin in July 2018 we lucked out with this gorgeous park just two minutes down the road from us. We knew we had to photograph a session here immediately and it definitely didn’t disappoint.
Adam and Emily met at a bar when they were both at separate work events. They connected over their love of baseball, craft beer, cold brew, and collecting vinyl. Their proposal went down like this:
“I knew that something was going down because we had gone ring shopping about 5 months earlier. We were on a trip to Chicago to visit friends and decided that part of the trip should be a visit to the Lincoln Park gardens.
Originally we planned to go on Monday, but it was raining which isn’t good for a walk through the gardens! We had dinner reservations for Tuesday night and Adam told me to bring something nice to wear because it was a special date night. I definitely thought he was going to be proposing at dinner – but he didn’t. I was slightly annoyed to say the least!
The next day we finally went and he asked why I was annoyed, I told him and he pulled out the ring and asked if I thought this was going to happen at dinner. I was so happy that I completely forgot about how irritated I was the night before. Turns out it was supposed to have been a celebration AFTER the proposal and the rain messed it up!”
How freaking perfect!
