We photographed Kaya and Safeer’s boho styled wedding at Two Wishes Ranch in Lockhart. These two wanted a laid back afternoon to celebrate with their family and friends just before officially moving together to Dubai. Safeer was already living there for several months working with his family and they traveled back to the states one last time for their second wedding celebration. Their style was a mix between modern and boho elements with gorgeous neutral florals.

Safeer was born in Mumbai, India and moved to Dubai around 8 years old. He came to the U.S for university while Kaya had grown up in the area just 30 minutes outside of Austin. They celebrated a traditional Indian-Muslim ceremony in Dubai just a couple months prior to their wedding here at Two Wishes Ranch.  Kaya and Safeer met at a block party in New Braunfels back in 2014. She just graduated from Texas State and was moving to Austin the following week. At the block party she said she won her first date by saying she needed to ‘make friends’ since he was attending UT for his Masters. The following week they had their first date at Halcyon accompanied with chocolate martinis and s’mores. These two love to travel and go to concerts, eat pizza and halal, and spend long days together hanging out with their cat Meeko.
